I'll Wear Any Color As Long As It's Black

I’m surprised I haven’t yet mentioned these American Apparel leggings that I’ve been in love with for the last month. For some reason, they’re no longer in the online store but an picture of them does show up in the header image on the leggings page . . . hopefully they’re still available because I’d like to get the black and white version as well. This version rules though because it answers one of the basic conundrums of wearing all black — how do you make it interesting? Well, here there are three different textures (black lamé and sheer black stripes with shiny black spandex on the other side). Also, they’re made to be worn with either half on the front (tag on the side!). The only problem I have with them is that the construction is a bit shoddy and they’re cut in this way where the crotch is sort of low so you have to pull them up pretty high, thus making them shorter in the leg. But other than that, they’re fabulous and I’ve been wearing them almost every day.

Bummer! I hope they keep them in production, they really are awesome. Though I also like the ones that are shiny on one side and sheer on the other. Not exactly the same, but still interesting!
