I'll Wear Any Color As Long As It's Black

Finally got a new camera! Let’s see how long it takes me to break this one . . . Anyway it’s been a little slow around here, mostly working. Ran out of room for shoes — shockingly enough — so I put my favorite ones on display above my records. From left to right: Sam Edelman, All Saints, Pura Lopez, Topshop.

My dad went on a business trip and brought me back this beautiful Prada bag. It’s really nice and the leather feels amazing, but honestly, I might have too many bags . . .

They’re so heavy that my door always drags on the floor when I open or shut it and now there’s a weird mark in the hardwood. Unfortunately, I have no other place to store them and I have already stripped down my collection to what I consider the necessities!

I’ve also been working on wearing more jewelry. This looks like one gigantic necklace but it’s actually five — two random, one I made out of all my favorite charms and two from Rogues Gallery. The Black Heart scrimshaw one is obviously completely amazing, but the vintage ivory piano keys they used to make the charms are so delicate! The first one I had broke so easily and now I am afraid to wear this one, but I’m still glad I own it.

And, of course, I’ve been spending some time with this darling dear, the apple of my eye and what not.

Lastly, I have been seriously enjoying the amazing sounds of Religious To Damn’s debut album Glass Prayer which came out digitally today. It is shimmeringly beautiful, both softly sweet and intensely gut-wrenching at the same time. I feel really blessed to know Zohra and to have seen her talent in action. Buy the record, you won’t be sorry!

I know, I lovvve those boots! I don’t wear them enough though because they’re not as practical as I’d hoped for work, but still…
